No, They Weren't Muslim..!!!!

RJ Nasar from Red FM wrote an open letter to the world. What he writes is something everybody knows, but fails to remember time and again. Not every Muslim is from the Taliban; no sane individual can even think of doing what happened in Peshawar yesterday. Must read. Must think....

Hi, I am a Muslim, and I am scared again.. Ohh wait, this time I am terrified! I am gonna be judged, again. I'll be reading people commenting on social media abusing my religion and my community, again. I'll be sad, very sad... Again!

When I meet a non-muslim, and when I tell them my name, I majorly get one of the 3 reactions..
1. Ohh you're a Muslim? So? You know who I am?
2. Ohh shit!
3. So what? We are brothers! You and I, we're all the same.

They don't always say it, but they still say it...There is anger or fear or sympathy. These reactions have made me like I am different. Like I am not normal! Whom do I blame? These people I am talking about? No... I blame the people with muslim names, who dress up like muslims, they represent muslims, they say they are fighting for Muslims and are actually the biggest enemies of Muslims!

Result?
- we don't get a house on rent because we're judged.
- we don't get jobs because we're judged.
- we don't get visa because we're judged.
- and we don't get the trust of our own countrymen because we are judged! Hearing about what happened in ‪#‎peshawar‬ today sent shivers down my spine.

Do I again have to prove to the world, to my friends, people I work with, that I am NOT like them, because I am NOT ONE OF THEM! And I HATE THEM, and I hate them more!! They are not only killing the innocent, spreading terrorism, making this world hell for all of us, they are representing MY RELIGION! It's MY RELIGION!!! Who is giving them this right? My prayers are with the families of the innocent children who died, may my Allah give strength to them, and may my Allah make the killers burn alive.I request the world... Please don't judge us, it wasn't the MUSLIMS..‪...

It's 16th December Again..

It's 16 December again.

Two years ago, we were on the streets. Shouting, lighting candles, protesting, demanding, getting arrested.

Two years ago, The protests were massive. We had gathered on the streets to register our protest against the lax laws that did not deter rapes enough.

Today we have stronger rape laws, but the rapes have not stopped. Irony is, the recent ‪‎Uber‬ rape case survivor had been a part of those protests too. She had protested for a change in the people's mindset, but alas, little has changed. If something changed, it's the news headlines. Then it was Nirbhaya, now its her.

Today we have a strange situation wherein the rapists can walk around freely but the women are expected to stay indoors for their safety. We have politicians playing down heinous crimes like rape with obnoxious remarks like "Boys will be boys, mistakes can happen". We have politicians accused of rape getting tickets from major political parties.

This is not what we had promised to ‪‎Nirbhaya‬ two years ago.

We had promised to give a safe and secure life to women. We reneged on that promise by doling out hashtags instead. We limited our role to posting and tweeting about these issues, but never rolled up our sleeves high enough and brought about real change.

Even little children are not safe inside school premises, and this just goes on to show how fast we need to put a comprehensive action plan in place. But what can that comprehensive action plan be? What is the solution to this dreadful problem?

•FIRST, we need to make sure that the stronger laws actually act as a real deterrent to crime. Strong laws are useless without a swift investigation and a speedy justice system. Even today a huge number of crimes against women go unreported. When a woman does manage to muster the courage to request for police action, she is often made to feel embarrassed. Despite there being safeguards in place for rape survivors, our police administrators and politicians often ignore them. This calls for a major overhaul of the manner in which law and order is managed by our states.

•SECOND, we need to inculcate strong values in our children, and encourage them to fight evil at every level, because that's what education is meant for. A child correctly guided today will not only grow up to become a responsible individual, but also inspire others to fulfil their responsibility. That's the kind of citizens our country needs.

•THIRD, our politicians must realise that taking issues like rape and molestation lightly is no longer acceptable to the common man. The world is getting closer each day with the advent of technology, and a closer world has resulted in a more aware, a more vocal citizen. This citizen knows how to make all the right noises, because he desperately wants to be heard. The only way to make our politicians listen is through the ballot. DO NOT VOTE ON THE BASIS OF CASTE, RELIGION, LANGUAGE or any such fickle criteria. Vote on the basis of the candidate's actions and words. Never forget the names and the faces of the unscrupulous politicians who rant derogatory comments about women and sexual harassment.

Lighting candles just for the sake of it is not enough. What we need is an illumination of our hearts and minds.

This 16 December, let's work towards an India where we don't have to keep such dates in mind.

Jai Hind!

An Open Letter to Indian Cricket from a Crazy Fan..

Beloved Indian cricket,

Remember? It was April of ‘98, when a little guy named Sachin Tendulkar was storming the deserts of Sharjah, adjusting his thigh guard and running down the pitch to make the Kangaroos cry. Like a canny mutual friend, he introduced me to you, in his own shy, subtle way, and that was it. I was in love. There was no turning back.

Like lovers, we spent sleepless nights together, via satellite, right under the nose of my sleeping parents. I skipped my final exams on two separate occasions to be there for you, on your big days.

Point is, dear, despite you being so popular and me being a rejected wannabe writer, you still can’t ignore our moments. I am not counting them, because I know you’ll cry and I hate tears re!

It won’t be a hyperbole if I say that my relationship with you was a “journey of blood, sweat and tears”.

It was never about players or matches though, but you, the adrenaline rush you gave me. The toil for runs against all odds, the joy of watching the stumps skittle, the catches that won matches (as Mark Nicholas would say). It was orgasmic. I wanted to do it, I wanted to see it.

We didn’t win much but ah, even the lost games were glorious. Every match seemed important, of national importance.

Those were the days when you were not so fancy, not so flashy, not so shallow, not so “IPL-ish” but just...cricket, my love, my religion.

And then, one summer afternoon in Bhopal, the great Sachin Tendulkar did the unthinkable, deservingly making the first ever double century in ODIs. It was thrilling. It felt extraordinary, for only the God could score a double century in a 300-ball game. It still felt very acceptable because it was unbelievable. It seemed once in a lifetime affair. The fun was still there, the thrill was still there, the suspense and the beauty of your soul unharmed.

Then the world cup was won and you gave me the biggest joy of my life. It was like holding my own child for the first time.

But, you had become adulterated, in front of my eyes. You just changed too soon!

T20s, IPL, spot fixing, Mr. Srinivasan and overkill of cricket. A lot happened, so suddenly, that I couldn’t even grasp things properly. You were not just cricket anymore but a brand. In the process of serving “entertainment” to the fans, your caretakers made a “dirty picture” out of you.

Didn’t you ever feel icky or hurt, O my beloved?

Still, I wouldn’t give up on you. Because, where there is love, there is no judgment. I still felt that, at least on the field, with so much influx of heavyweight talents, the Kohlis and all, my darling was safe, alive and kicking.

My diffidence raised head again, when I actually noticed the on-field action.

Every night a match is happening. If not International then IPL; if not IPL then CLT20. For the first time, as a fan, I am tired of watching cricket.

Yes, it is no small feat to score two double hundreds in a 300-ball format. Bravo, Rohit Sharma for your fitness and talent! But your 264, with all due respect, made me yawn and sleep and then quietly switch the TV off. Cricket was never so generic, never so boring. As if the entire concept of the game was down the drain.

264 yawns!
I have to confess something. I know, not many will agree with me but I will still practice my freedom of speech.

I have fallen out of love with you, dear Indian cricket. I dont salivate over an upcoming team India match.

I can’t bear those sick sixes and fours anymore. I would rather watch the Indian Super League (yes, football).

But will that change anything? Will that make those 50s in 70-odd deliveries relevant again? Will a crisp swinging yorker be worth noticing again? Will a beautiful off-spinner ever be discussed? Will you regain your beauty ever again? Will you just be “cricket” again and not what you have become?

I am not a pessimist. I am just sad. Despite being a 90s kid, who once walked and talked cricket, I don’t want to watch Rohit Sharma or Virat Kohli (despite them being supremely talented) bat and boast about their records (21 tons Virat! Wow!), when the same men find it impossible to bat 30-overs collectively in Test matches on English and Kiwi pitches. I don’t hate you my love, I hate this pretence. I abhor this pompous pride that is taking over Indian cricket. *deep breaths*

In simple words, I miss the fight that I still see in Australia v South Africa matches.

Soon, there will be more apathetic souls roaming around, untamed, not interested in your existence at all. It would be tragic for you my love, to be a fallen star, trampled under your own glory, self righteousness and tons of ODI double centuries and a few triplets too.

I hate to say this but since “the god” retired; you don’t seem like a “religion” anymore but just another sport. Isn’t that scary?

Shakespeare began his classic “Romeo and Juliet” with,

“For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo.”

But, the legend of me falling out of love with you is even more tragic and woeful. It is a catastrophe only you can understand.

Take care, my love.

Your ex-lover

PS: I *want to* LOVE YOU.

From Protester to Protester (via Chief Minister)

Fascinating journey of "National Aam Adami" Shree Arvind Kejriwal....
From IT officer to protester...then pollitician..then Chief Minister and now Anarchist..
Great AK sir...

Delhi has been hit by yet another protest...Lets check the reason first...AK says the Delhi police is corrupt and unco-operative as they didnt help Somnath Bharti to raid the place without warrent & AAP wants that 4  policemen removed immediately...

Now According to reports....Somnath Bharti, Law Miniater of Delhi raided some place in South Delhi without warrent and now he is being accused for entering the house of Ugandian woman without her permission and molestating her....
This is the same Somnath Bharti who is already given Show-cause notice for tampering the evidence while being the defence lawyer...
Does Mr. AK have something say about these two serious charges against his law minister and for whom they are non-sensely protesting and affecting lives of true "AAM ADAMI"....

The Delhi traffic has been hit...there is traffic jam for 10 hours and 1 lakh+ vehicles are trapped...4 metro station have been closed...5 lakh+ Aam Adamis are affected...Delhi is suffocating...Delhites are suffering...all this just to save 1 minister...????

And the limit has been crossed when AK with Manish Sisodia waves a letter to the media and they said that it was from Uganda Government thaking Delhi Government for exposing the racket of immoral trafficing....
But According to Ministry of External Affairs, Uganda Govt. denies to send such letter....Fascinating to see that how one AAM ADAMI can ruin the relation with one of the friendly country for his own political ambition...!!!
There are only two possibilities..either AAP is lying or Uganda Govt. is lying...
But as AAP is "Self-Certified Most Honest Party of India"..it must be Uganda Govt. who is culprit...
And in that scenario why dont some AAPtards go there & protest for suspending their Ministers....Wouldn't it be a nice change of pace of Delhites...???

And to top of all that AK threatens to disrupt Republic Day Celebrations in Delhi...
Now this is unacceptable...
Even Pakistan or China wouldnt dare to stop Indian Republican Day Celebrations but a 14 month old party & his "ANARCHIST" is challenging it....Grow up man...its not about political ambition of one man...its about National Pride, Dignity & Honour obtained by sacrifices of Brave Warriors...All this to save your one minister..???
And even more sad to see blind AAPtards still supporting it...!!!!

God Bless us all...!!

Pseudo-Secularism

"BE CAREFULL WHILE ARRESTING MINORITIES"

Unbelievably ridiculous yet so called "SECULAR" statement made by Sushil Kumar Shinde , man who is the Home Minister of India..!!!

Can we ask Mr.Shinde why ??
Police can arrest majorities without any hesitation..kick them...punch them but they have to be "CAREFULL" while arresting minorities (In more direct words "Muslims"..) just because a hindu is born in certain family and learnt to serve humanity...

Lets look at some incidence of recent past...
[A]  "Muslims must have 1st claim on the national resourses of India"
- Dr. Manmohan Singh in Dec'2006....
Why MMS sir...???
In the constitution of India , All Indians are considered equal and they share equal claims on nation property..Any particular reason for such bias ..???

[B]  In last elections , "Secular" Leader of Bihar Lalu Prasad Yadav include a muslim person in his election campaign because he looks alike Osama Bin Laden ("Osamaji" for Some Secular People)...Leave communalism, even terrorism is not spared by these people for votebank...what a shame..!!!

[C]   In Nov'2013 UP Government provided 5 lakh rupees for each Muslim victim of Muzaffarnagar riots for their rehabilitation...Even Supreme Court had to interfere by asking that wasn't any Hindu family victim in the riots...???
This shows that how far behind the politician can leave Huminity for their Vote-bank...!!!!

[D]  Government of India had given fianancial help for "Hajj" to Indian Muslim...the heights of "Pseudo Secularism"...Even Pakistan dont give such money...
And since majority of tax paying people of India is Hindu...it is practically Hindus that help Muslims for their "Haj"..

[E]  Last..most recent and may be most tragic-comic..
Some Muslim Association of Mumbai has "warned" Congress to choose a Muslim Leader as PM Candidate...
Otherwise they will protest...!!!

In contrary lets view some other statements..

[A] "Any Minority if they want to live in Russia, have to speak Russian and follow Russian law...if they want to follow Sharia Law then they can leave Russia...Russia doesnt need minorities...minorities need Russia...We are not gonna change the rules according to them"
-Russian PM Vladimir Putin in Feb'2013..

[B] "Any Muslim who wants to follow Islamic Sharia is not welcome in Australia...You can leave the country if it doeant suit you"
-Australian Minister Peter Costello...

Now here's a thing...
In India , Even after the ruling party has given such statement still Muslims wants more..like now they want Muslim PM..
I mean if you are so upset with the communal status of the government who is stopping you from leaving the country...???

My polite advice to all my Muslim brothers that when You shout about "Discrimination" , First look upto Yourselves....If you want to wear your traditional outfits with skull cap and all...if you gonna keep long beard and look different in the whole crowd then you are gonna be doscriminated..You are making yourselves different in the crowd...not other people...
If you want to live with harmony..learn to mix with the society...take part in the development...

And Media...!!!
If NaMo doesnt want to wear a skull cap he is communal..
Name any Muslim Leader who has worn Malas...Janois or Tilak...
I mean why such bias..???

We dont wanna say that all Muslims are communal...But the point is Leaders who seek "Discrimination" in India's policies should look upto themselves...

Tavleen Sharma mentioned in his book "Durbaar" that it was Rajiv Gandhi's era when the "Pseudo Secularism" was born & that is what today's Congress under Sonia Gandhi has seen , inherited , practised & mastered...

JAY HIND...
